The Diamondbacks and Mariners have agreed to the following trade:
Mariners Send:
Cal Raleigh, C (prospect)
Zach DeLoach, OF (prospect)
D-Backs send:
David Peralta, OF (7,500,000 21-22, FA in 23)
Luke Weaver, SP (1,900,000 ARB)
Jon Duplantier, P (500,000 protected)
Dominic Fletcher, OF (prospect)
Humberto Mejia, P (prospect)
Glenallen Hill Jr, MI (prospect)
I really didn’t want to trade Raleigh, like at all. But Michael came with a real strong offer after I sent him a list of players I really liked. Peralta is signed through 2022, and still has a ton of life in that bat. I believe in Weaver’s potential, and think he turns it around. Flyers on everyone else, but I really like Fletcher. Easy working with Michael, and wish him luck moving forward!
