I'm gambling a bit in the short-term here by dealing arguably my best SP, but I feel that McMahon will bring greater consistency to a lineup that has some injury issues and I hope that Odorrizi will be an adequate replacement for Waino in the rotation. I particularly like the changes McMahon has made at the plate this year, and while he still strikes out quite a bit, I think he can be a multi-category contributor moving forward and deepen my lineup long-term. Losing Morejon isn't ideal, but his injury pushes his timeline back and a 2nd year of Odorizzi helps offset the risk as well. Will move Luke Weaver to the IL in a corresponding move to create roster space.

Mariners confirm! Dealing from decent depth at RP and MI to get out from under CMart and the Cardinals love affair with him. Too hard to predict how he will pitch from game to game. We like McMahon but we are scared off at the chance he gets dealt out of Coors. Waino is a great piece pitching real well and will slide into our rotation nicely. This move also clears a little over 11M in cap room to make some more moves!

I like Morejon long term in the pen, but the chance to stick in a rotation is enough to gamble with his injury history. Happy to eat CarMarts contract to do so. He'll find himself back on the O's trade block. Confirmed.
