Dodgers brass singled out Stephenson as a trade target to pair with Will Smith, as his CI eligibility gives me roster flexibility and 2 starting catchers for the next few years.  Josiah Gray finally leaves the Dodgers system to headline a package that includes a speedster and a pair of highly touted J2s.  Good luck to Pittsburgh with the rebuild!

I confirm this trade. I have a fear that this will turn into a true Pirates type of trade. I'm chasing upside and taking on huge risk. If anyone is a bettor put money on Gray having shoulder surgery, being out for two years, me cutting him, and then him turning into a 200 inning, sub 3 ERA, 11 Ks per 9 pitcher.
