Confirmed. I'm a strong advocate of competing every year, and while the Nationals record looks promising, I'm not convinced I have the pieces to compete this year. Michael approached me about Fedde and Ross, and while I feel they're starting to hit their stride, I couldn't turn down talented pieces like Shuster and Miller that fit more closely with my upcoming window. Will likely be the first of many deals on the horizon for the Nationals as I look to minimize my rebuild and establish my roster for years to come.
